A walk down reality lane, with someone who has been through a lot: CIA mind control chipping, torture, Directed Energy Weapons, attempted murders, vehicle sabotage, malicious prosecutions, electronic surveillance, pin hole spy cameras in home, harassment, character assasination, etc, etc, etc....the usual Police State dirty tricks).

New Song Lists for DIPSHITS: part Two
New song lists for those who grew up listening to popular music in the mid to late sixties....anybody older than that, should IGNORE THIS BLOG POST.
I really have no patience or respect for those....who don't listen to the great music from the Golden age of Rock and Roll (mid 60's--70's).
CLICK my blogpost title above, and get linked to GROOVESHARK.COM for free listening.
Click on the "magnifying glass" icon to start your search...type in name of band or song.......and it only costs 99 cents to download a song you like, or listen for FREE...so...uh...well...here's a solid song list for those who have not looked back in a while......
__________________________________________________________________________
--1). Todd Rundgren's "One World"....a very simple song...showing all you artists that, a great song can have great "beat, melody, riffs, hooks" or "great lyrics" or ...just a simple fun child like rock and roll sound with "flippant off the cuff lyrics" that work on a very simple emotional caveman level.....
--2) Grateful Dead's "Till The Morning Comes"....from American Beauty album.... (great opening lead guitar...great vocals in tune as a melodious group singathon....lots of weed...blurs the ego lines into one group...and, buy this album, read the liner notes and learn that JERRY GARCIA said, "....this album really taught us and proved we could write songs...together...as a group...."....and...you listen to this album, and listen to a fairly large group working together as a laid back group with no egos dominating the art...all share the lead vocals....and enjoy crafting and polishing each other's personal artistic vision....a group effort...GREAT ALBUM A MUST HAVE FOR WEED SMOKERS, DRINKERS, or those...who like the sound of string instruments............
--3). Rolling Stones "Dead Flowers" from STICKY FINGERS (great lyrics like, ".....when you're sitting back, in your rose pink Cadillac, taking bets on Kentucky Derby Day.....")
--4). Ricki Lee Jones "Chuckee's in Love" from "Chuckee's in Love" album (very great album...not online at Grooveshark...so...uh...buy that album and listen ten times in one sitting....fantastic album.....I remember having an old cassette with America's Greatest Hits on one side...and Ricki's "Chuckee's in Love" on the other.....me and an old friend were at a Guatemalan resort near Puerto Abbarios where the CIA launched their ships for The Bay of Pigs landing...and, I pulled the tape out for the local bartenders to hear, and they liked it, and it was new to them...so, I just gave it to them...to keep for any gringos drifting in.
--5). Toni Price's: "Chain of love"..... and for a little Nashville Blue Grass country sound, try out "Call of My Heart" and..."Sarah"...."Just to Hear your voice"....
.........remember to buy "Low Down and Up" album (best bluesy hippie Nashville album" you'll buy this year.....guaranteed...and if you can get to Austin, Texas, for Tuesday Night Hippie Hour at The Continental Club on South Congress, don't miss Toni Price live....get stoned, get drunk...and most importantly, GET THERE AT LEAST 90 MINUTES EARLY TO GET A TICKET, AND GET THOSE GOOD UP FRONT SEATS.....
--6). The Jayhawks, "Waiting for the Sun"...one of the many Jayhawks classic songs....amazing group....great vocals...wonderful strings..."why even write about music" when...it has to be heard...to know?...no?
--7). America's, "Ventura Highway" (Beautiful opening acoustic guitar to set the table)...
--8). Joe Walsh's "Happy Days" from "The Smoker you Drink, the player you get"album...a cool forgotten little calypso beat song....
.....when I listened to this album, ...ten times in a row in one road trip sitting...I always remembered this song....and hope you like it....really, really, really different than anything Walsh was famous for doing.....?
--9). Grateful Dead's, ...."A Touch of Grey" from "In The Dark" album....probabely the Dead's most popular charted song....
....from the 80's...and...Jerry Garcia's last great shot at making the Top 40...a totally perfect, honest....iconic song with plenty of soul....
--10). Grateful Dead's: "SUGAR MAGNOLIA"....from the "American Beauty" album....
--11) "Dirty Work" by Steely Dan..... a song that I used to confuse for part of Todd Rundgren's soft ballads about love lost....a great song and easy to listen to....a classic....great use of the saxophone...
