So....Here's my play list for you to "get picked up" if you got 30 minutes of time, ....and..."all we got is time" on our hands.
1) The Jayhawks, "I'm gonna make you love me" from the "Smile" album....and the iconic melody jayhawk song, "I'd run away"....listen to the strings...hmmm...almost like NICKY HOPKINS PIANO on "Exile of Mainstreet" or his contribution to Jefferson Airplane's "Surrealistic Pillow" album....no?
2) BLIND MELON'S infamous 90's iconic song, "No Rain".
3) Todd Rundgren's "We got to get you a woman"....followed by "Hello It's Me" and mix that in with "I saw the light".
4) Mix up those three iconic Rundgren songs with R.E.M. "Shiny Happy People"....and or "Man on the Moon" (don't forget to rent that movie title, too...hilarious when Andy plays a character he created named "Tony Clifton").....
5) ROLLINGSTONES "Mixed Emotions" from Steel Wheels....
......mix in with Stones "Saint of Me"......
6) Back to Jayhawks, "Bad Time"...
7) Head East's "Never been any reason"....followed by MeatLoaf's "You took the words right out of my mouth" (mixed and produced by Todd Rundgren).
8) Follow up with Stones "Exile on Main Street"....
or "Flowers" album...with "Let It Bleed" somewhere mixed in with all this...........
9) Paul Simon's "The Obvious Child"
10) Steely Dan's "Reeling in the Years".
Don't forget Jefferson Airplane's "Surrealistic Pillow" album...stunning at the time....a favorite from that album is "J.P.P. McStep B. Blues"....this song was not on the original release, but the later release added it as an extra from the studio sessions....When I re bought this album, I listened to this one song over and and over...

PSS: Listen to "The Jayhawks".....seminal album....breakthrough album...amazing....album called "Tommorrow the Green Grass".....(I've played this album for numerous "virgins to the hawks" and they always said, "...who the fuck is this?...." (said with that look of respect and awe and wonder that begins a "music-art search" to live better...feel better...love better...sing better....smile better............cheers mate, (Tommy just winked at you).....
